Answers to the questions we are asked most about booking, changes and refunds.
Search your route and dates on the home page, choose the fare that suits you, then enter traveller and payment details. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference once the ticket is issued.
No. Take To Flight LLC is an independent online travel agency. We help you search, compare and book travel that is operated by airlines and other suppliers, and we are not affiliated with any of them unless we say so explicitly.
Most tickets are non-refundable unless the fare rules say otherwise, so check the conditions shown at booking and repeated in your confirmation email. Some tickets qualify for a full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of booking, provided departure is at least seven days away — this depends on the airline, route and fare type. See our Refund Policy for the full terms.
If you do not reach the airport before check-in or the boarding gate closes, you are generally treated as a no-show and the ticket is non-refundable. Some airlines waive this at their own discretion, so contact us as soon as you know.
Where an airline cancels, significantly reschedules, or cannot operate because of weather or other disruption, you may be entitled to a refund or a travel credit under that airline's policy. Contact us with your booking reference and we will take it up with them on your behalf.
That is the airline's decision, not ours. Some issue cash refunds and some issue vouchers or future travel credits instead; the value and expiry of a credit are set by the airline. Bookings made with promotional offers or discount codes often do not qualify for a cash refund at all.
Approved refunds follow the airline's or supplier's own processing times and can take several business days to appear on the card you paid with. When you submit a request we send an acknowledgement with a tracking reference — that confirms we have it, not that it has been approved.
Card processing and transaction fees may apply and are not refundable. Any charges or deposits taken by an airline, hotel or payment provider follow their rules, not ours. Everything payable is shown before you confirm.
Tell us as soon as you spot it. Most airlines do not allow a name change after ticketing and some treat even a spelling correction as a reissue, so the sooner it is raised the more options there are.
That depends on the airline and the fare you choose. The allowance is shown with the fare before you book and again on your confirmation. Extra bags are usually cheaper bought in advance than at the airport.
Travel documents are your responsibility. Check that your passport has enough validity remaining and that you hold any visa or health documents your destination and any transit countries require — airlines deny boarding for missing paperwork.
On many airlines yes, either during booking or afterwards with the airline directly using your reference. Some fares charge for any seat selection.
